Here's a recipe to bake a bread using the rice cooker. This recipe comes from an anime called Yakitate!! Japan.
Japan #2 (it's the name of the bread):
Bread Flour 350 g
Butter 21 g
Sugar 21 g
Milk 35 cc
Water 180 cc
Dry Yeast 5 g
Salt 6.5 g
The most important thing in baking bread is to measure out the ingredients properly.
Add flour 350 g, sugar 21 g, salt 6.5 g, 5 g dry yeast dissolved in water, 180 cc water, and 35 cc milk into a container and mix it. Knead the ingredients. Then, add the 21 c butter. Knead some more. When it no longer feels sticky, shape it so that it's round. Leave it in a warm place for 60 minutes. This is the primary fermentation. Later, the dough will rise. Next, get rid of the extra gas. Don't grind against with your fist. All you need to do is drop it from a height of 50 cm. Once you've released the gas, start the secondary fermentation for 60 minutes. And the switch on the button on the rice cooker. And now, you're finally baking it! After about 60 minutes in the rice cooker, one side will be baked. Turn it ove, and cook it again. Then, once that's done, turn it over once more and cook it once again. Once you've cooked it 3 times in total, you're done! Just a little work, and you can have a freshly baked, fluffy fluffy Japan #2.
It takes a little time, but if you want to eat a deliciouss and fresh bread, something like this isn't very much, right? Adding eggs or green tea to suit your taste isn't a bad idea, either. It's really and absolutely delicious, so everyone, try challenging it and see!
